Howdy!

So, we are finally breaking down and starting a blog. Hopefully this will be a little bit easier in keeping everyone updated on our lil' incubating baby....or as Monte would refer to it as "our fetus baby". We are officially 14 weeks! I'm not posting any belly pictures just yet because...well...no one really wants to see that. :) It's not a cute lil' belly just yet...just more like a blob, but it's getting there! When it becomes cute, I will get Monte to take some pictures! I have just starting purchasing maternity clothes so I'm on my way. Our next appointment is June 17th for routine blood work (including the quad test) and a sonogram. They say we will know the sex ('cause Monte REALLY wants to know!) about the second week in July, unless he/she decides to "show itself". So far the lil' booger has been very photogenic so keep your fingers crossed.

Just to keep everyone updated..... Monte and I found out that we were pregnant right around April Fool's when I had been out of town for work. We had just started going to our new fertility doctor, Dr. Kaufmann in Ft. Worth. We showed up for our first appointment with him to find out we were about 6 weeks pregnant! We were both shocked and maybe a little confused, but couldn't have been happier! We saw Dr. Kaufmann until about 8 weeks just to make sure everything we going as planned. He was truly a blessing and so understanding of our nervousness based our previous miscarriages and other difficulties that we've had. He then decided that the lil' one was looking so good that he passed us along to our new doctor, Dr. Zwernamann. We had decided that we wanted to deliver in Ft. Worth and he came highly recommended. We are elated to have such a great doctor who has been taking care of us both emotionally and physically.

Monte and I especially want to thank and, of course, will continue to thanks, all of our family and friends for your endless love and support through the path that God has given us. We appreciate all the prayers that you have shared with. Everyday with this lil' one has been a blessing from God.

This is our lil' one at 8 weeks.
